SHIPPING + RETURN

If there is an issue with your order, we are here to help! If something has gone wrong, or your item wasn’t as you were expecting - we will do everything we can to make it right. You are welcome to reach out via the form below so we can find a solution together.

Liability

We do not take liability for goods once they are in the possession of the collector. It is not our duty to refund, exchange, replace or compensate by any means for the damage of products within the care of customers.

All product descriptions are clear and concise. It is not our duty to compensate customers who do not read the information provided within before purchase. This applies to any and all public pages within elliebright.com.

Every order, original painting(s), commission painting(s) and print(s) is handled with care and as much clarity and transparency as possible. Please read below to see how we can help, as I want to make sure that you are in love with your new purchase.


SHIPPING ( DOMESTIC + INTERNATIONAL )
We support domestic as well as international orders. Domestic orders will comply with ups shipping schedules (no weekends / holidays). International orders will depend upon the specific delivery service used for your order. Please note that artwork may be subject to duties, taxes and/or fees according to your country’s regulations. Please consult your local customs office for more details about duties and taxes. 
On average, it will take 1-2 weeks for domestic shipping and up to 2 weeks for international shipping.

This time does not include the process of varnishing, drying and packaging the art. Shipping before the piece is ready will compromise the quality.


COST OF SHIPPING
The cost is determined based on the weight and size of the painting as well as any products needed to help protect the painting during shipping. International shipping costs are subject to duty, taxes, and other fees depending on your country’s laws. You can also contact info@elliebright.com for a shipping cost estimate.


RETURN
All sales of original painting(s) ,commission painting(s) and print(s) are final. We are more than happy to exchange a print for you, an additional 20% exchanging fee will be applied.  As we are print to order and try our best to not have prints sitting in stock.


HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO EXCHANGE A PRINT?
Please open and check your prints immediately upon receiving them. We only accept print exchanges within 7 days of receipt. If you do not reach out within 7 days, we will be unable to make an exchange. Please note the above exchanging fee.


WHAT PACKAGING DO I USE TO SEND THE PRINT BACK?
Please return the print in the original packaging. If the print came in a tube, it must be returned with both end caps. We are not responsible for the return shipping cost for any exchanges of prints. If the print arrives and was damaged in transit, we will not provide you an exchange due to poor packaging. As we are unable to restock and sell damaged prints, so please make sure you package the print with care!


MY ARTWORK ARRIVED DAMAGED OR WAS NOT DELIVERED OR WAS LOST OR WAS STOLEN FROM MY DOORSTEP
We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (domestically or internationally), and we are not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. We work extremely hard to package each an every order with care in sturdy/heavy duty mailers and tubes so that it arrives undamaged. We suggest you handle your new artwork with care at all times. If the painting happen to damage in transit - it will be fully insured for shipment so in that case you should contact the shipping service personally and immediately.


THIS IS HOW WE TYPICALLY HANDLE SITUATIONS THAT FALL OUTSIDE OF OUR CONTROL
Not Delivered/Lost/Stolen: If your package is marked “Delivered” and yet is nowhere to be found on your doorstep, please first check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. This does happen occasionally, and it is not uncommon to have the package returned here to the studio. If that is the case, we are more than happy to forward it to your correct address, though we ask that you pay for the additional shipping cost. If the address is correct and you believe your package to have been lost, stolen, or if you missed the delivery, you must contact the shipping service personally and immediately. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything we can do on our end, so we are unable to address any failed delivery or theft issues directly. If a package is unable to be delivered, and is returned to our studio, we are happy to reship, but ask that you pay for the additional shipping cost. We are unable to repaint or reprint any order for free that has been not delivered, lost, or stolen.


CANCELED ITEM
If you decide to cancel your order, you must do so 24 hours after placing the order. Failure to comply will result in a nominal fee of 50%.


COMMISSIONS
Commissions are non-refundable. I have this policy in place because this is a piece of art specifically crafted around your direct criteria; made for you and your space. To guarantee your happiness, progress photos will be sent throughout the process. You can read more about the detailed process on my commissions page.


SALE ITEM
Sale and discount items are non-refundable.


NOTE
The actual color and texture of my paintings may vary slightly depending upon lighting conditions in your home as well as the computer screen brightness when viewing online.
